Integrated Project Logistics

Turn Purchase Orders Into Site-Ready Cargo.

Project procurement does not finish when the order is placed. Someone must follow the supplier, verify the documents, connect the manufacturing and release milestones, coordinate packing and inspection, organize transport, and keep material status tied to the construction or operating need.

OGL creates that connection. We support approved sourcing and purchasing models while personally coordinating the work between buyer, supplier, inspector, packer, warehouse, carrier, customs parties, and site.

Licensing & Execution Confidence

  1. Sourcing + Logistics Under One Project Desk
  2. Purchase-Order and Cargo Visibility
  3. Senior-Led Exception Management
  1. Direct Supplier Follow-Up
  2. Expediting and Inspection Coordination
02

The Gap Between Ordered and Delivered Is Where Projects Lose Visibility.

Buyer status may say “on schedule” while drawings remain open, packing is undefined, dimensions are unverified, inspection is not booked, export documents are incomplete, or the destination is not ready. OGL establishes a fact-based status built from direct contact and connected milestones—not a passive request for another spreadsheet.

The work package can begin with selected critical purchase orders or scale across an approved project vendor list. Scope, authority, systems, reporting, data access, and commercial responsibility are defined before execution.

Sourcing Support Without Blurring Technical Authority

OGL can identify potential supply channels, coordinate commercial inquiries, purchase and resell approved equipment or materials under agreed terms, and manage the logistics chain. The client, engineer, or appointed technical authority retains responsibility for specifications, approved manufacturers, technical bid evaluation, equivalency, deviations, final acceptance, and fitness for service.

This boundary allows OGL to carry the administrative, commercial, supplier-communication, and logistics burden while the client maintains technical governance.

04

Supplier Coordination Built Around Real Milestones

Kickoff and Data Alignment

01

OGL confirms the responsible contacts, purchase-order scope, promised date, document requirements, inspection points, packing needs, dimensions and weights, Incoterms, collection conditions, and project reporting rhythm.

Manufacturing and Document Follow-Up

02

Status is tied to agreed milestones and evidence. Open drawings, submittals, approvals, materials, fabrication, testing, certificates, inspection, punch items, packing, and release are tracked according to the work package.

Cargo Readiness and Handover

03

OGL verifies collection address, hours, contact, package count, dimensions, weights, marks, dangerous-goods status, handling needs, release documents, and destination information before dispatch planning is finalized.

Exception and Recovery Management

04

When a date changes, OGL identifies the cause, affected milestone, recovery actions, owner, decision need, and downstream logistics impact. The objective is not to decorate the delay—it is to make the next action unmistakable

06

Material Control From Supplier to Site

Material identity can be lost when commercial line items, packing lists, cargo units, warehouse receipts, booking references, customs entries, and site receipts live in separate systems. OGL establishes the agreed cross-reference structure so the project can understand what has been ordered, released, packed, received, shipped, cleared, delivered, and left open.

Where the client has an established ERP, procurement platform, document-control system, or material-management process, OGL aligns the agreed data and responsibilities rather than claiming to replace the client’s system of record.

07

Personal Follow-Up Is the Operating Model.

OGL does not put another dashboard between the buyer and the answer. Our team contacts suppliers and execution parties, verifies the actual milestone, documents what is missing, and closes the communication loop. The client receives a concise decision and action path while OGL carries the daily coordination burden.

08

You Will Know Who Owns the Next Step.

OGL gives your project a clear communication and escalation path. Our team personally follows the suppliers, facilities, carriers, and delivery parties responsible for each milestone. When something changes, we do not wait for a dashboard to explain the problem. We contact the people involved, identify the available options, and bring the decision to your team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for procurement, project controls, logistics, and site teams evaluating the execution path.

01
Can OGL buy materials on behalf of the project?

OGL can support sourcing and may purchase and resell client-approved equipment or materials under agreed commercial terms. Technical approval, specifications, and fitness-for-service decisions remain with the designated technical authority.

02
Does OGL replace the project’s procurement team?

No. OGL can own an approved sourcing, supplier-coordination, expediting, material-control, or logistics work package while integrating with the client’s procurement organization, systems, and authority structure.

03
Can OGL start with only critical purchase orders?

Yes. A pilot work package can focus on critical, international, oversized, high-risk, or schedule-sensitive orders before expanding to a larger vendor or material population.

-Project Discussion

Bring OGL Into the Project Early.

The earlier we understand your suppliers, cargo, schedule, routes, and site requirements, the more effectively we can identify the workstreams and information needed for execution.
