Houston Trade Show Booth Storage

Your Trade Show Booth Doesn’t Belong in Your Garage

Houston booth storage and white-glove logistics for small businesses that exhibit — and have nowhere to put the crates in between.

Onsite Global Logistics provides secure trade show booth storage and exhibit logistics support in Houston, Texas. We take custody of your booth, crates, and marketing materials between events, store them in a secured, racked facility in our Houston warehouse network, and can coordinate their delivery directly to your show floor at George R. Brown Convention Center, NRG Park, or venues across North America, Mexico, or Europe. You never have to rent a self-storage unit or coordinate a carrier alone. One vendor handles storage, crating, customs paperwork, and freight on a single invoice.

The Problem

You booked the booth. You paid the fabricator. Then the show ended and eight hundred pounds of custom exhibit hardware came back to a two-car garage, a spare bedroom, or a self-storage unit with no loading dock and no way to get a forklift near it.

Self-storage was never built for this. Roll-up doors are too narrow for a crated island booth. Nobody inventories what’s inside, so you find out a graphic panel is missing the week of the show. And when the next show comes around, you’re the one renting a box truck, finding pallet jacks, and arguing with a show contractor about drayage windows.

That’s the job we take off your desk.

What We Handle

  • Secure warehouse storage — Your booth is stored on racking, not stacked on a floor or wedged into a unit you can’t get a forklift into. Climate-controlled space is available for graphics, printed collateral, and finish-sensitive components upon request and availability.
  • Local event delivery — Scheduled delivery and pickup for George R. Brown Convention Center, NRG Park, and major venues in the Houston area. We can manage the show’s marshalling yard appointment and drayage paperwork so your crates hit the floor in your target move-in window.
  • Cross-border trucking to Mexico — Direct service to Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and regional expo centers, including support for the temporary importation paperwork required for exhibition goods.
  • Ocean import from Asian fabricators — If your booth is being built overseas, we handle the ocean freight, Port Houston entry, customs clearance, and delivery straight into storage — so the booth’s first stop in the U.S. is already its storage home.
  • European export shipping — Air and ocean export to European trade fairs with ATA Carnet support, EU customs documentation, and coordination with on-site handlers at the destination venue.

How It Works

  1. Tour or call. Walk the facility where your booth would be stored, or just send photos of what you’ve got. We size the space and quote a flat monthly rate.
  2. We pick it up. Our team can collect your booth and materials from your home, office, or the last show’s dock.
  3. We store it. Your assets are inventoried and logged upon arrival so you know exactly what you own and its condition.
  4. You tell us the next show. Give us the venue and the move-in date. We handle crating, freight, customs, and delivery to the floor.
  5. We bring it home. After tear-down, it comes back to us — not to your garage.

Why Small Exhibitors Use Us

You are not a shipping department. You are a business owner with a booth to run and a flight to catch. Most freight forwarders are built for pallet-count clients and treat a single exhibit crate as an annoyance. Most storage companies won’t touch logistics at all.

We built this service specifically for companies that exhibit frequently and have zero square footage to spare. Your account is handled by a dedicated representative who knows your booth, not a ticket queue.

Request a Warehouse Tour or Shipping Quote

Come see where your booth would live — or skip the tour and send us the details of your next show. We’ll come back with a storage rate and a landed shipping cost, itemized, with no accessorial surprises after the fact.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does trade show booth storage cost in Houston?
Trade show booth storage is quoted according to the piece count, dimensions, weight, stackability, material type, climate-control requirements, handling needs, and expected access frequency. For planning purposes, storage for a standard pallet position measuring up to 48 × 48 × 60 inches generally averages $30–$40 per month for storage only. Trade show booths often contain oversized or irregularly shaped components, so Onsite Global Logistics confirms the actual monthly rate after reviewing an item list, photographs, and dimensions. Receiving, inventory services, special handling, climate-controlled space, crating, repairs, delivery, drayage, customs services, and freight are quoted separately when required.

Who has custody of my booth, and where is it stored?
Your booth is stored in a secured Houston facility within our warehouse network, and your agreement is with Onsite Global Logistics. We hold the inventory record, we manage access, and we’re the single party accountable for your assets — you never coordinate with the facility directly. We’ll tell you exactly which facility your booth is assigned to, and you’re welcome to tour it before anything ships to us.

Is your storage climate controlled?
Some of the space in our network is climate controlled and some is not. Graphics, printed collateral, laminates, and finish-sensitive components go into climate-controlled space; crated hardware, frames, and cases are stored in standard warehouse space. We tell you which space your assets are assigned to before anything ships to us.

Can you deliver my booth directly to George R. Brown or NRG Park?
Yes. We can schedule the marshalling yard appointment, handle the drayage paperwork with the show’s official contractor, and deliver into your assigned move-in window.

Do I need a customs broker to take my booth into Mexico?
Exhibition goods entering Mexico temporarily require specific documentation to avoid being treated as a permanent import. We can handle that filing and the return crossing as part of the cross-border service — you don’t need to hire a separate broker.

My booth is being built in China. Can you receive it?
Yes. We manage the ocean freight, Port Houston customs entry, and drayage into storage, then hold it until your first show. The booth never needs a stop at your address.

What happens to my booth after a show ends?
We can collect it from the show floor at tear-down, return it to the warehouse, inspect it for damage, and log any visible repairs needed before the next event.

Do you store marketing materials and giveaways too?
Yes — printed collateral, banners, promotional items, and product samples are stored alongside the booth and pulled for each show.
